Fundamental Rules
1 NAME
1.1 The Club shall be called the "WINCHMORE HILL CRICKET CLUB".
2 TRUSTEES
2.1 Trustees shall be appointed by the Management Committee of the Club and the Title to the Leasehold Property of the Club shall be vested in the said Trustees and they shall have power to hold, charge or otherwise deal with the said leasehold land and buildings thereon.
3 PLAYING AREAS AND PREMISES
3.1 The sectional playing areas as defined in the Ground Development Plan adopted in 1948 shall not be curtailed or restricted except with the approval of two-thirds of those present and voting at:
3.1.1 the Annual General Meeting of the Club or an Extraordinary General Meeting called for that purpose as provided in General Rule 6.2 and
3.1.2 an Extraordinary Meeting of the playing members of the Cricket Section of at least the two previous seasons' standing, members of the Cricket Sectional Committee and other members of the Club who have previously played for the Section for at least ten years.
3.2 The Club premises are defined as the Club Pavilion, outbuildings, Cottage and any other structures whether of a temporary or permanent nature situated within the fenced area bordered by Firs Lane to the north and east, Ford's Grove to the south and the New River to the west, known as The Paulin Ground.
4 MANAGEMENT COMMITTEE
4.1 The general and financial management of the Club shall be vested in the Management Committee to consist of the Chairman, Vice Chairman, not more than two Honorary Secretaries, Honorary Treasurer, one ex-Chairman, two representatives of each of the Cricket, Lawn Tennis, Association Football, Hockey and Non-Playing Sections and one representative of the Table Tennis Section, all to be elected at the Annual General Meeting of the Club, and the Trustees for the time being. The President shall be ex-officio. The Sectional representatives to be elected as above must be members entitled to vote at the Annual General Meeting of their Section
5 WINE COMMITTEE
5.1 The supply to the Club of intoxicating liquors shall be under the sole control of a Wine Committee who shall arrange for the purchase thereof on behalf of the Club and for the supply thereof to members. The Wine Committee shall keep an account of all purchases and receipts and shall, at every Annual General Meeting, present a Report and Financial Statement for the previous year.
5.2.1 The Wine Committee shall consist of six members of the Club. The Management Committee will receive proposals for membership of the Wine Committee on or before a date one week prior to the Annual General Meeting. Such proposals must state in full the names, addresses and Sections of the intended member and of his proposer and seconder. All proposals shall be posted on the Club's notice board for the week prior to the Annual General Meeting.
5.2.2 The names of those members duly proposed shall be put to the Annual General Meeting and the six receiving most votes shall be declared elected to the Wine Committee. Election shall be for a period of one year and four members shall form a quorum.
6 ALTERATIONS TO RULES
6.1 The Fundamental Rules shall not be altered, added to or rescinded except with the approval of two-thirds of those present and voting at
[i] the Annual General Meeting of the Club, and
[ii] an Extraordinary General Meeting of playing members of the Cricket Section of at least the two previous seasons' standing, members of the Sectional Committee and other members of the Club who have previously played for the Section for at least ten years.
6.2 Notice of a proposal to alter, add to or rescind the Fundamental Rules must be received in writing by the Honorary Secretary not later than the last day of any financial year and must appear on the Agenda of the next Annual General Meeting.

General Rules
1 SECTIONS
1.1 The Club shall consist of Sections for Cricket, Lawn Tennis, Association Football, Hockey, Table Tennis and Non-Playing Members.
2 COLOURS
2.1 The Club colours be purple, black and white.
3 SUBSCRIPTIONS
3.1 Save as otherwise provided by these Rules, all members shall pay an Annual Membership Subscription ("the Club Subscription") which shall be such sum as shall be laid down from time to time by Management Committee.
3.2 The Club Subscriptions shall be due and payable on the 1st October in each year except in the case of members who are playing members of the Cricket or Lawn Tennis Sections whose Club Subscriptions shall be due and payable on 1st April in each year.
3.3 Membership of the Club shall lapse in the event of the appropriate subscription remaining outstanding three calendar months after the due date.
3.4 In addition to the Club Subscription all members of a playing Section shall pay a Sectional Subscription which shall be payable at such rates and in such manner as shall be laid down by the respective Sectional Committee with the prior approval of Management Committee.
3.5 Management Committee shall have the power to elect to Associate Membership persons introduced by existing members of the Club on payment of an Annual Subscription to be determined by Management Committee from time to time. The said Associate Members shall be entitled to attend the Club premises when lottery prizes are drawn.
3.6 Management Committee shall have the power to elect to Associate Membership the parent or lawful guardians of children under the age of 18 who are members of the Club's Youth Sections on payment of an Annual Subscription to be determined by Management Committee from time to time. The said Associate Members on election shall be entitled to attend the Club premises and be afforded use of facilities thereat.
3.7 Persons admitted to Associate Membership under General Rule 3.6 shall not be entitled to vote at Club or Sectional General Meetings, nor may they serve on Club Committees other than a properly constituted Youth Committee of the Section(s) of which their child or charge is a playing member.
3.8 Life Members shall not be required to pay either a Club Subscription or a Sectional Subscription.
4 DISSOLUTION
4.1 The Club shall not make a distribution of any surplus save to another non-profit making body, or in part or in whole to the Members on dissolution.
5 NEW MEMBERS
5.1 Application for membership shall be submitted in writing on the appropriate form to the Honorary Secretary, proposed and seconded by members of the Club, for consideration by the Club Management Committee. The names and addresses of any persons proposed for election must for not less than two days before the election be prominently displayed on the Club Notice Board. If elected, the applicant shall not be entitled to the privileges of membership until an interval of two days has elapsed since the submission of the application for membership and until the Annual Subscription to the Club has been paid.
5.2 A simple majority at a meeting of the Club Management Committee shall elect an applicant to membership. 
5.3 Club Membership is open to all, regardless of sex, race, creed, colour or disability.
6 GENERAL MEETINGS
6.1 The Annual General Meeting of the Club be held not later than 31st March for the purpose of:
6.1.1 Receiving the Annual Report and Accounts
6.1.2 Electing the President, Vice Presidents, Chairman, Vice-Chairman, Joint Honorary Secretaries, Honorary Treasurer, one ex-Chairman (vide Fundamental Rule 4) and appointing an Independent Qualified Accountant in Public Practice, and
6.1.3 Transacting the general business of the Club.
6.2 The Honorary Secretary shall call an Extraordinary General Meeting within twenty-eight days after receiving:
6.2.1 Instructions from the Management Committee, or
6.2.2 A written request detailing the object of the meeting and signed by not less than thirty members entitled to vote at the meeting.
6.2.3 At least ten days written Notice and Agenda of every General Meeting shall be sent to all members.
6.3 Voting at a General Meeting of the Club shall be limited to members of at least eighteen years of age, and elected to membership in accordance with General Rule 5.1, being Officers of the Club, Life Members, Vice Presidents, playing members of at least two years standing as of the date of the meeting, members of Sectional and other Sub-Committees of the Club, and other members of not less than ten years playing service to the Club, and
6.4 The quorum for a General Meeting of the Club be thirty members present and entitled to vote thereat.
7 SECTIONAL GENERAL MEETINGS
7.1 In addition to the General Meetings of the Club, separate Annual General Meetings of the Cricket, Lawn Tennis, Association Football, Hockey, Table Tennis and Non-Playing Sections shall be held as provided for in the Rules of each Section.
8 SUB-COMMITTEES
8.1 The following Sub-Committees shall be responsible to the Management Committee to whom minutes of their meetings must be submitted when required, and shall be appointed as under:
8.1.1 Sectional Committees - to be elected at the Annual General Meetings of the Cricket, Lawn Tennis, Association Football, Hockey, Table Tennis and Non-Playing Sections as provided in the rules of each Section.
8.1.2 Finance - to consist of the Honorary Treasurer of the Club and not less than two other members who shall be appointed by the Management Committee. Their duties shall include the preparation of an annual budget and a monthly statement of the financial position.
8.1.3 Pavilion and Ground - to consist of one representative appointed by each of the Cricket, Lawn Tennis, Association Football, Hockey, Table Tennis, Wine and Non-Playing Committees and such additional members as the Management Committee may appoint. Their duties shall include responsibility for the maintenance of the ground, pavilion and ground equipment.
8.1.4 Emergency - to be appointed by the Senior Officers to deal with all urgent matters which may arise between meetings of the Management Committee. Their duties shall include dealing with disciplinary matters regarding Club Members.
8.2 At least one member of Management Committee shall sit on each of the above sub-committees.
8.3 The Chairman, Vice-Chairman, Joint Honorary Secretaries and Honorary Treasurer shall received Notice and Agenda of, and be entitled to attend, any meeting of any Sub-Committee.
9 MANAGEMENT COMMITTEE
9.1 The Management Committee shall
9.1.1 deal with any matters not covered by these Rules;
9.1.2 appoint any additional sub-committees, which may from time to time be considered desirable;
9.1.3 meet at least once a month, nine to form a quorum;
9.1.4 the quorum for meetings of each sub-committee shall be half the members of that sub-committee
10 LIFE MEMBERSHIP
10.1 A member may be elected to Life Membership in recognition of outstanding services to the Club, subject to the following conditions:
10.2.1 The proposal shall be made in writing to the Honorary Secretary and be signed by not less than three members who shall each have been voting members of the Club for at least ten years.
10.2.2 The proposal shall be approved by the Management Committee
10.2.3 The elections shall take place at the Annual General Meeting of the Club and notice of the proposal shall appear on the Agenda of that Meeting.
11 VICE-PRESIDENTS
11.1 Vice-Presidents shall be elected at the Annual General Meeting of the Club. Initial elections shall be subject to the procedure detailed in Rules 10.2.1; 10.2.2 and 10.2.3.
12 DURATION OF PLAYING SEASON
12.1 Unless otherwise agreed by the appropriate sections and confirmed at a meeting of the Club Management Committee:
12.2.1 Cricket - last Saturday in April to end of September
12.2.2 Lawn Tennis - summer. First Saturday in April to end of September
12.2.3 Association Football and Hockey - Beginning of October to end of March
12.2.4 Lawn Tennis - winter. Beginning of October to end of March
12.2.5 Table Tennis - Beginning of October to end of March.
13 GUESTS AND VISITING TEAMS
13.1 Members may introduce and entertain guests at the Club and there shall be kept at the Club premises a Visitor's Book in which both member and guest shall sign. No member introducing a guest shall permit his guest to pay for any intoxicating liquor.
13.2 Members of opposing teams visiting the Club shall be elected to temporary membership without subscription for the day of their visit provided there be an interval of not less than 48 hours between their nomination and election. The names of such temporary membership shall be entered in a book to be provided for the purpose and kept in the Club pavilion.
14 LICENSING HOURS
14.1 Intoxicating liquor may be supplied to members and guests signed in under General Rule 13 on
14.2.1 Weekdays (Monday to Saturday) 11.00 am to 11.00 pm
14.2.2  Christmas Day and Good Friday - Closed
14.2.3 Sundays - 12.00 noon to 10.30 pm
15 ALTERATION TO RULES
15.1 The General Rules shall not be altered added to or rescinded except with the approval of two-thirds of those present and voting at a General Meeting of the Club.
15.2 Notice must be received in writing by the Honorary Secretary at least 30 days before the date of the meeting at which any such alteration is to be considered.
16 SECTIONAL RULES
16.1 In addition to the Fundamental and General Rules there shall be Sectional Rules covering the activities of the Cricket, Lawn Tennis, Association Football, Hockey, Table Tennis and Non-Playing Sections. These Rules shall not be altered, added to or rescinded except as provided in the Rules of each Section and confirmed by the Management Committee.
17 ACKNOWLEDGEMENT OF RULES
17.1 Payment of subscription shall be considered an acknowledgement of an agreement to the Fundamental, General and appropriate Section Rules of which a copy shall be supplied to a member on election.

 Cricket Section Rules
1 TITLE
1.1 That the Section be known as the "Cricket Section of the Winchmore Hill Cricket Club".
2 AFFILIATION
2.1 That the Section be affiliated to the Club Cricket Conference
3 SECTIONAL COMMITTEE
3.1 That the general management of the Section be vested in a Committee to consist of the Chairman, Vice Chairman, Honorary Secretary and Honorary Treasurer of the Section, the Honorary Match Secretary, Honorary Team Secretary, the Captain of the 1st XI, a representative of the Colts and six other members of the Section, all to be elected at the Sectional Annual General Meeting.
4 DUTIES OF COMMITTEE
4.1 That the Sectional Committee shall:
4.1.1 Meet once a month during the Cricket season and at least twice during the winter months, unless otherwise determined by the Sectional Committee;
4.1.2 At the first Committee Meeting after the Sectional Annual General Meeting appoint representatives to the Management and Sub-Committees of the Club as provided in Fundamental Rule 4.1 and General Rule 8.1;
4.1.3 Appoint a Selection and other Sectional Sub-Committees as required;
4.1.4 Have power to decide all Sectional matters not provided for in the Rules.
5 GENERAL MEETINGS
5.1 That the Annual General Meeting of the Section be held not later than the 1st day in February for the purpose of electing Sectional Officers and Committee and the Captains and Vice-Captains of the XIs, and transacting the general business of the Section;
5.2 That the Honorary Secretary of the Section shall call an Extraordinary General Meeting of the Section to be held within twenty-eight days of receiving;
5.2.1 Instructions to do so from the Sectional Committee, or
5.2.2 A written request to do so detailing the object of the meeting and signed by not less than twenty-five members entitled to vote at the meeting
5.3 That voting at Sectional General Meetings be confined to the Chairman, Honorary Secretary and Life Members of the Club, to playing members of the Section, to Officers and members of the Sectional Committee and to those non-playing members who have previously played for the Section for at least ten years;
5.4 That at least ten days written notice with Agenda of all Sectional General Meetings be sent to all members entitled to vote thereat and to members covered by General Rule 10, and copy of the Notice and Agenda to be posted in the Club Pavilion for the information of other members;
5.5 That a quorum for Sectional General Meetings be twenty-five members present and entitled to vote thereat.
6 ALTERATION TO RULES
6.1 That these Sectional Rules may only be altered, added to or rescinded by a majority vote of those present and voting at the Sectional Annual General Meeting;
6.2 That written notice of any proposal to alter, add to or rescind these rules must be received by the Honorary Secretary of the Section before September 30th and appear on the Agenda of the next Sectional Annual General Meeting.

Tennis Section Rules
1 GENERAL
1.1 That the Section be known as "The Winchmore Hill Tennis Club".
2 AFFILIATION
2.1 That the Section be affiliated to the Lawn Tennis Association and all games played within the rules thereof.
3 COMMITTEE
3.1 That the general management of the Section be vested in a Committee to consist of a Chairman, Honorary Secretary, Honorary Treasurer, Ground Representative, Membership Secretary, Communications Representative, Child Protection Officer, a Junior Representative and up to two other general committee members, all to be elected at the Section Annual General Meeting.
4 DUTIES OF COMMITTEE
4.1 The Sectional Committee shall meet once per month during the summer season and not less than twice during the winter season unless otherwise determined by the Sectional Committee.
4.2 At the first Committee Meeting after the Sectional Annual General Meeting appoint representatives to the Management and Sub-Committees of the Club as provided in Fundamental Rule 4.1 and General Rule 8.1
4.3 The Sectional Committee shall appoint Sectional Sub Committees as required.
4.4 The Sectional Committee shall have the power to decide all Sectional matters not provided for in the rules.
5 GENERAL MEETINGS
5.1 That the Annual General Meeting of the Section be held not later than the last day of November for the purpose of electing the Section Officers and Committee and transacting the general business of the Section.
5.2 That the Sectional Honorary Secretary shall call an Extra-Ordinary General Meeting to be held within 28 days of receiving:
5.2.1 Instructions to do so by the Sectional Committee, or;
5.2.2 A written request to do so detailing the object of the meeting and signed by not less than 30 members entitled to vote at the meeting.
5.3 That voting at Sectional General Meetings be confined to the Chairman and all members of the Sectional Committee, Life Members of the Club, all playing members of the Section and to those non-playing members who have previously played in the Section for at least ten years.
5.4 That at least ten days written notice and Agenda of any Sectional General Meeting be sent to all members entitled to vote thereat and to members covered by the Club General Rule 10.1 and a copy of the notice and agenda be posted in the Club pavilion for the information of other members..
5.5 That the quorum for a Sectional General Meeting be 20 members present and entitled to vote thereat.
6 MEMBERSHIP
6.1 Membership of the Section shall be subject to a 'playing-in' standard and the existence of vacancies. Prospective members from outside the Club shall apply to the Section Secretary in writing; such applications shall, if accepted by the Committee, be passed for final acceptance to the Management Committee.
6.3 Applications not reaching the required ‘playing-in’ standard in accordance with Rule 6.1 may, at the discretion of the Committee, be offered alternative membership status at such rate to be determined by the Committee.
6.3.1 Applicants falling within Rule 6.3 above shall be given every opportunity of reaching the required ‘playing-in’ standard and, should they attain the necessary standard, have their membership status shall be reviewed by the Committee.
6.4 The Committee and the Club Management Committee reserve the right to withdraw membership of any member whose conduct is deemed to be unacceptable and/or in breach of Club rules.
6.5 Any section member who, in the opinion of the members of the Committee, is found to be in breach of sectional/Club rules shall be notified in writing by the Chairman of the Section.
6.6 Any appeal against the decisions of the Sectional Committee will be heard by the sectional Chairman who will decide whether or not to uphold the decision of the Committee..
6.7 A final appeal may be lodged with the Management Committee of Winchmore Hill Cricket Club who will make the final adjudication. Their decision shall be deemed final.
6.8 Junior Members may, if they so wish, elect to be represented by a parent, guardian or senior member of the tennis section during an appeal.
7 EQUALITY
7.1 The Winchmore Hill Tennis Section and its parent, the Winchmore Hill Cricket Club, is committee to equality for all, regardless of age, sex, physical ability, ethnic or religious persuasions and beliefs.
7.2 Offensive language, abusive or violent behaviour (either physical or verbal) or any form of conduct deemed to be in breach of Rule 7.1 is regarded as unacceptable behaviour and will be subject to disciplinary action by the Tennis and/or Club Management Committee
8 SUBSCRIPTIONS
8.1 Membership of the section necessitates full payment of the relevant annual subscription fee as determined from time to time by the Committee.
8.2 The Committee reserves the right to disallow any individual from playing team/tournament tennis if the annual subscription is not paid on time.
8.3 The Club coach and his assistant are deemed to be honorary members of the Club. The coach shall also be an honorary member of the Committee.
9 GENERAL
9.1 That these Sectional Rules may only be altered, added to or rescinded by a majority of those present and voting at a Sectional General Meeting.
9.2 That written notice of any proposal to alter, add to or rescind these rules must be received by the Sectional Honorary Secretary at least four weeks prior to, and must appear on, the Agenda of the next Sectional Annual General Meeting.
9.3 That notice to alter, add to or rescind the Sectional Rules at any other time shall be received in writing by the Honorary Secretary accompanied by a request to convene an Extraordinary General Meeting in accordance with Sectional Rule 5.2.2.
9.4 All rules and regulations are deemed to be governed by English Law.

 Table Tennis Section Rules
1 NAME
1.1 The name of the Section shall be "The Winchmore Hill Table Tennis Club".
2 OBJECTS
2.1 The objects of the Section shall be to assist and encourage the formation of teams within the Section, to enter these teams in approved competitions, and to promote the Club and the game of Table Tennis in every possible way.
3 AFFILIATIONS
3.1 The Section shall be affiliated to the North Middlesex Table Tennis League, the Middlesex Table Tennis Association and the English Table Tennis Association. All games shall be played in accordance with the Laws and Regulations of the above organisations.
4 SECTION COMMITTEE
4.1 The Section shall be managed by a Committee which shall consist of the Chairman, Honorary Secretary and Honorary Treasurer (these to be the Officers), together with a Fixture Secretary, a Social Secretary and two others, all of whom shall be elected at the Section Annual General Meeting.
4.2 No one person shall be elected to more than one position concurrently.
5 DUTIES OF THE COMMITTEE
5.1 The Section Committee shall:
5.1.1 Meet at least once every six weeks between the beginning of September and the end of April;
5.1.2 Meet at least once between the beginning of May and the end of August;
5.1.3 Appoint at its first meeting after the Section Annual General Meeting representatives to the Management Committee, Sub-Committees of the Club and to the League Annual General Meeting;
5.1.4 Appoint Section Sub-Committees as required;
5.1.5 Have the power to make all decisions between Annual General Meetings;
5.1.6 Have the power to co-opt members;
5.1.7 Have the poser to decide all Section matters not provided for in these Rules.
5.2 Four members of the Committee shall form a quorum for a Committee meeting. The Chairman shall have a second and casting vote.
6 MEMBERSHIP
6.1 Membership of the Section shall be subject to a 'playing-in' standard and the existence of vacancies. Prospective members from outside the Club shall apply to the Section Secretary in writing; such applications shall be passed for final acceptance to the Management Committee.
7 SUBSCRIPTIONS
7.1 All Full Members will pay the Club Annual Subscription rate.
7.2 Junior Members will pay half of the Club Annual Subscription rate.
7.3.1 Club Membership rate will be determined by the Club Management.
7.3.2 A Section membership rate will be determined by the Table Tennis Section Committee.
7.4 Any member selected for a Section team who has not paid his subscription by October 31 will not be further selected until he has paid.
7.5 Members who represent the Section in the North Middlesex Table Tennis League will also be required to pay the League Registration Fee and Section Match Fees.
8 TEAMS
8.1 The composition of each team entered in the League shall be determined by the Committee prior to the start of the season, and shall be revised and, if deemed necessary, altered by the Committee. The general running of the teams shall be the responsibility of Team Captains who shall be appointed by the Committee.
9 CLUB CHAMPIONSHIP
9.1 Club Championships may be held annually and shall be organised by the Committee. Only fully paid up members shall be eligible to compete.
10 SUMMER TABLE TENNIS
10.1 Table Tennis between the beginning of May and the end of August may be organised by the Committee. Members playing during this period shall be subject to the regulations and conditions set by the Committee.
11 ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING
11.1 The Annual General Meeting of the Section shall be held in May and at least two weeks written notice shall be given. In addition, a copy of the notice and Agenda shall be posted in the Club Pavilion for the information of other members.
11.2 The purpose of the meeting shall be to: 
11.2.1 elect the Section Committee;
11.2.2 receive reports on the season completed;
11.2.3 discuss arrangements for the new season, and
11.2.4 to vote on any proposed alterations to these rules.
11.3.1 Voting at the meeting shall be confined to the Officers and Life Members of the Club, Officers and Committee members of the Section, all playing members of the Section and to those non-playing members who have previously played in the Section for at least ten years.
11.3.2 The quorum shall be one third of the Sections Full Members.
12 SPECIAL GENERAL MEETING
12.1.1 A Special General Meeting shall be called by the Section Secretary within twenty-eight days of receiving;
12.1.2 instructions to do so from the Section Committee;
12.1.3 a written request to do so detailing the specific purpose of the meeting and signed by not less than one half of the Section Full members.
12.2 Rules affecting Annual General Meetings shall, where applicable, apply to Special General Meetings.
13 ALTERATIONS TO RULES
13.1 These Section Rules may only be altered, added to or rescinded by a vote of at least two-thirds of those present and voting at a Section Annual General Meeting or Special General Meeting. 
13.2 Written notice of any proposal to alter, add to or rescind these Rules must be received by the Section Secretary by the end of March or be contained in a letter sent in accordance with Rule 12.1.3.
13.3 Any such proposal shall be included in the notice convening the Annual or Special General Meeting.

 Non Playing Section Rules
1 TITLE
1.1 That the Section be known as the "Winchmore Hill Cricket Club (Non-Playing Members Section)."
2 SECTION COMMITTEE
2.1 That the general management of the Section be vested in a Committee to consist of the Chairman, Honorary Secretary and Honorary Treasurer of the Section and seven other members, three of whom shall be ladies, all to be elected at the Sectional Annual General Meeting.
3 DUTIES OF THE COMMITTEE
3.1 That the Sectional Committee shall:
3.1.1 Meet once a month during the Cricket Season and at least three times during the Football Season, unless otherwise determined by the Sectional Committee;
3.1.2 At the first Committee Meeting after the Sectional Annual General Meeting, appoint representatives to the Management and Sub-Committees of the Club as provided in Fundamental Rule 4.1 and General Rule 8.1.3;
3.1.3 Co-opt further members, when considered necessary;
3.1.4 Have power to decide all Sectional matters not provided for in the rules.
4 ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING
4.1 That the Annual General Meeting of the Section be held not later than the last day in October for the purpose of electing Sectional Officers and Committee and transacting the general business of the Section.
4.2 All Non-Playing Members are entitled to vote at the Section Annual General Meeting.
4.3 That the Honorary Secretary of the Section shall call an Extraordinary General Meeting of the Section to be held within twenty-eight days of receiving;
4.3.1 Instructions to do so from the Sectional Committee, or
4.3.2 A written request to do so detailing the object of the meeting and signed by not less than twenty members.
4.4 That at least ten days written notice with Agenda of all Sectional General Meetings be sent to all Non-Playing Members and a copy of the Notice and Agenda be posted in the Club Pavilion for the information of other Sections of the Club.
4.5 That the quorum for Sectional General Meetings be twenty Non-Playing Members.
5 ALTERATIONS TO RULES
5.1 That these Sectional Rules may only be altered, added to or rescinded by a majority vote of those present and voting at a General Meeting of the Section.
5.2 That written notice of any proposal to alter, add to or rescind these rules must be received by the Honorary Secretary of the Section before the 30th September and appear on the Agenda of the next Sectional Annual General Meeting.

Football Section Rules
1 Title
1.1 That the Section be known as "The Winchmore Hill Football Club"
2 Affiliation
2.1 That the Section be affiliated to the Amateur Football Alliance
3 Sectional Committee
3.1 That the general management of the Section be vested in a Committee to consist of the Chairman, Vice-Chairman, Honorary Secretary, Honorary Treasurer, Match Secretary, Selection Chairman/Team Secretary, Referees Secretary, Ground Representative, Results Secretary, Youth Development Officer, Veterans Representative and two other members, all to be elected at the Sectional Annual General Meeting.
4 Duties of Committee
4.1 That the Sectional Committee shall:
4.1.1 Meet once a month during the season and at least twice during the summer months unless otherwise determined by the Committee.
4.1.2 At the first Committee Meeting after the Sectional Annual General Meeting appoint representatives to the Management and Sub-Committees of the Club as provided in Fundamental Rule 4.1 and General Rule 8.1.3.
4.1.3 Appoint Sectional Sub-Committees as required.
4.1.4 Have power to decide all Sectional matters not provided for in the Rules.
5 General Meetings
5.1 That the Annual General Meeting of the Section be held in May for the purpose of electing the Sectional Officers and Committee and transacting the general business of the Section.
5.2 That the Sectional Honorary Secretary shall call an Extraordinary General Meeting of the Section to be held within 28 days of receiving 
5.2.1 Instructions to do so from the Sectional Committee, or
5.2.2 A written request to do so detailing the object of the meeting and signed by not less than ten members entitled to vote thereat, provided that no Extraordinary General Meeting shall be held during April or May, and that notice of any request for a meeting received during these months and before the Annual General Meeting shall run from the date of the Annual General Meeting.
5.3 That voting at Sectional General Meetings be confined to the Chairman, Honorary Secretary and Life Members of the Club, to Sectional playing members, to Officers and members of the Sectional Committee and to those non-playing members who have previously played for the Section or served on the Sectional Committee for at least three years.
5.4 That ten days written notice and agenda of any Sectional General Meeting be sent to all members entitled to vote and to members covered by General Rule 3.6 and a copy of the notice and agenda be posted in the club pavilion for the information of other members.
5.5 That the quorum for Sectional General Meetings be 20 members present and entitled to vote thereat. 
6 Colours
6.1 That the Section's colours be purple, black and white and that the design and colour trim of the playing kit shall fall within these parameters as determined from time to time by the Sectional Committee.
7 Visitors Tea Levy
7.1 That, in addition to the subscription as defined in General Rules 3.1 and 3.4, a levy to be made per player per game of an amount, from time to time to be determined by the Committee, to defray the cost of visitors teas.
8 General
8.1 That these Sectional Rules may only be altered, added to or rescinded by a majority of those present and voting at a Sectional General Meeting.
8.2 That notice of a proposal to alter, add to or rescind the Sectional Rules shall be received in writing by the Honorary Secretary of the Section not later than 31st March and shall appear on the Agenda of the Sectional Annual General Meeting.
8.3 That notice to alter, add to or rescind the Sectional Rules at any other time shall be received in writing by the Honorary Secretary accompanied by a request to convene an Extraordinary General Meeting in accordance with Sectional Rule 5.2.2.
