| We
have four new all weather courts and five excellent grass
courts. There's a professional coach for those who want to take up
tennis or who would simply like to improve their game plus ample opportunities
to play social tennis, tournament tennis or perhaps even team tennis
within one of our many ladies', men's or junior teams. It's entirely
up to you. |
 |
The club has
an active junior section and fields both a boy's under 15 team and
a girl's under 15 team in the Middlesex league. Any sports clubs future
lies with its development of young players and we are firmly committed
to youth development.
There are four ladies' teams and four men's teams competing in various
divisions of the Middlesex league. The club operates internal 'ladders'
in order to encourage match play plus an annual club championships
with the finals played in July.
Regular social tennis tournaments are held, invariably involving mixed
doubles with everyone, regardless of playing standard, encouraged
to join in. Throughout spring and summer regular 'turn up and mix
in' tennis takes place on Saturday afternoons and on Wednesday evenings
which is club night and Sunday mornings the whole year round.
