WHSC Coronavirus Update

Following the UK government announcement on Sunday 10th May 2020, the following changes to the club's arrangements for use of the facilities have either been altered or remain as in the current status.

Tennis Courts

Our artificial surface tennis courts can now be used from Wednesday 13th May, by members of the tennis section, as long as the government and LTA guidelines are adhered to. Only two people per court from different households, four from the same household.

Members of the tennis section should have received information with regards to the booking system for the courts. Anyone wishing to join the tennis section, please go to their website and click on the contact/join link.

Please do not turn up and play, without pre booking the court.

Grass tennis courts should be in action in the near future. Members will be notified when they can be used.

Multi Use Games Area (MUGA)

Until further notice and clearer guidelines are received from the governing bodies, the MUGA will remain closed.

Cricket Nets

Until further notice from the ECB, the nets facilities will remain closed. Furthermore, the surface was damaged, in the recent high winds, so will be out of action, for repair, until members are informed otherwise.

Pavilion and Car Park

The clubhouse and its facilities, including the toilets, will remain closed until further notice. This includes the club car park.

Grass Outfield

The grass outfield can still be used by all members of the club for their daily exercise. Please do not use the roped off Cricket Squares or where the football goalmouths are normally located.

Members and their families should take extra care in areas where ground staff are operating.
